Valuation methodology
The valuation constitutes a data-driven estimate based on listing data from comparable vehicles where a change of ownership has taken place. The calculation takes into account the vehicle’s generation, facelifts, engine options, and equipment packages. The valuation should be regarded as a market assessment at the current point in time.
Car.info also has a standalone valuation tool for those who want more control over the valuation process. This tool also gives you access to a lot of extra data that is not public. Car.info also offers data in an API version to integrate into your own systems. More information can be found here.
