Cheap to maintain
Might rust
The V8 engine is a perfect match for the MGB GT
- Lower weight than the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder
- Better Torque
- More horse power than the standard 4-cylinder engine
In general more of a sportscar than the 4-cylinder version
Easily keep up with modern cars driving on the motorways and at the same time really sporty on small and twisting roads
Very few manufactured, which makes it collectable and keeps it's value
