Car.info is a Nordic platform for vehicle data, founded by the team behind Prisjakt. Our purpose is to create data-driven transparency and deliver the market’s most comprehensive decision-making support for everything related to vehicles.

By structuring and quality-assuring large amounts of data – from history, mileage, and valuations to specific features, equipment packages, and digital service records – we make it easy to verify vehicle history, compare statistics, and make accurate valuations. Today, we are an established industry standard used by everyone from major insurance companies and car dealers to millions of private individuals across the Nordic region.

Is Car.info free of charge?

YES! For you who only use Car.info as a private person for non-commercial purposes, we offer our service free of charge.

NO! If you use Car.info in your profession or in your business, you are considered a commercial user and according to our terms of use a commercial license is required.

For example in car sales, purchasing, valuation, vehicle repair, financing, insurance or fraud investigations.

As a professional user you will be able to use Car.info unlimited without so-called coffee breaks. You also get access to our valuation service and extra data that isn't available to the public. Valuations and comments can be saved and displayed to colleagues.

History

After having founded and run the site Prisjakt.nu for 12 years we realised that our passion is to structure and organise data to make it into usable information for those who like to get nerdy with it.

The reason that we chose cars is because we find them fun and there is a lot of unstructured data (in need of structuring) and the opportunities to change the industry are endless.
